This year’s Stride 4 Life takes place on Sunday 14th July 2013 in the grounds of Darent Valley Hospital. All monies raised from our sponsored walks and funday goes to Darent Valley Hospital’s Cancer Fighting Fund.
The day starts off with 2 sponsored walks followed by a fun day, which is full of family fun and entertainment. You do not have to take part in the sponsored walks to attend the fun day. The fun day includes various stalls, entertainment throughout the afternoon in the arena, tea and beer tents, children's rides, dog show, pony rides and much, much more. There is also a balloon release to celebrate the life of a loved one, to celebrate the recovery of someone, to give thanks for a saved life or to celebrate a new life.
Some walkers raise money in memory of a loved one or just come along for a family fun day out - fancy dress is optional. The Darenth Stride starts at 11.00 am and the Warwick Walk begins at 11.30am
Family Fun Day starts at 12 (noon).

Stride 4 Life allows people an opportunity to help raise money for the Cancer Fighting Fund, time to remember a loved one and celebrate their life as well as providing an immense day of fun and entertainment.
People walk to raise money, often in memory of a loved one or just come along for a family fun day out in the knowledge that everything they do is helping provide important items for their local hospital.
