Areas of our hospitals are, from time to time, photographed or filmed for a variety of purposes, including live news broadcasts and locations for documentaries, films or dramas.
Our first commitment is to our patients but we are able to accommodate filming on wards and departments that are currently not being used for example Redwood Ward or areas that are not used at weekend, evenings etc.

Charges
We make a charge for any filming or photography in our hospitals other than that which is to be used for news footage or for the Trust’s own purposes.
Our charges are typically £250 per hour with a minimum period of four hours, plus any extra charges that may be applicable, for example for parking.
We also charge £50 per 30 minute slot for organisations who wish to carry out a recce of our hospitals for possible filming or photography. All income is reinvested into the Trust.
Our staff are also happy to work as extras in their own time, if needed for a small charge.
You will be expected to provide a copy of your public liability insurance document to the communications department before any photography or filming commences.
