  • Myosure.jpg Gynae Dept Now Offer hysteroscopic polypectomy with MyosureWomen now have more choice as the Gynaecology Outpatient Department is pleased to offer women outpatient hysteroscopic polypectomy with Myosure. The Myosure polypectomy is an outpatient procedure, performed on an outpatient basis using a local anaesthetic, to remove small uterine polyps.

The NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP) went live across England in 2006 so is now 10 years of age. This helps to provide care for people who have a range of musculoskeletal (i.e. joint, soft tissue and nerve) conditions, for example, shoulder injuries, knee pain, back pain.

The money was received as part of the Green Token Scheme where shoppers vote via token for who they would like to see receive a donation. Rowan ward were the lucky winners and were over the moon to be presented with a cheque.

Indigo manage the car parks and external security at Darent Valley Hospital. There were a total of 140 nominations over 12 categories and congratulations to Sue on winning her category outstanding off-street parking.

  • Little Buds Fund Bailey Bertram Raises MoneyLittle Bailey Bertram, aged 3 has raised a whopping £515 for the Little Buds Fund in memory of his sister Hallie who was born still 5 years ago. Bailey and his dad Craig completed the 5k run at Maidstone Mote Park in just 47 minutes.

  • KFRS Image Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS)On 14th September Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS) took part in a joint live fire exercise at DVH. A fire was simulated using a smoke machine in a sluice room in Main Theatres.
