The Radiology directorate provides a diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic service for the local population seeing patients from GP surgeries, hospital clinics, inpatient wards and the accident and emergency department.

A comprehensive range of radiology services are provided at Darent Valley Hospital with additional x-ray facility to support GPs and the Minor Injury Unit at Gravesham Community Hospital.

 

The radiology service at Darent Valley offers an extensive and full range of imaging examinations to our patients and their doctors.

 

The department has a large waiting room and friendly reception area, so the wait for x-rays and examinations are in comfortable surroundings. The radiology department is committed to the provision of state of the art imaging technologies and constantly evolving techniques. This enables us to offer a high quality level of patient service and care.

 

Examinations

Your doctor or nurse will be able to explain the examination to you and information will be included with your appointment letter where necessary.
