The professional library based at Darent Valley Hospital offers a wide range of services for NHS staff based at the hospital and for NHS staff out in the community.
As well as loaning books to you we can show you how to access electronic resources including full text journals, e-books and a range of healthcare databases. We can help you with your literature searches or we can even do them for you. There are PCs in the library, with internet access, for use by library members.

Location
The library is situated in the west wing on Level 1 - follow the signs for the Philip Farrant Education Centre.
Library access out of hours
It may be possible for library members to gain access out of hours – for further information please ask in the library. Books can only be borrowed during opening hours.
The library has an external out of hour’s returns box located on the main street by the library entrance that can be used to return your library books out of hours.
